August 1, 2022 by admin

How exciting would it be to participate in a paid internship abroad, where almost all your costs are covered? This is possible with the GIFT Internship Program in South Korea.

If you are a third or fourth year engineering student interested in ferrous technology, who is delving into the iron and steel production process, consider this internship as a stepping stone to expand your knowledge and skills in the field.

The best thing about this paid internship abroad is that it gives you global and practical exposure in the field at one of the top universities in South Korea: Pohang University of Science and Technology, ranked 71 in QS World University Rankings 2023. The internship lasts about four weeks, notes Youth Opportunities.

While the summer internship will begin in July 2022, there is also a winter internship, which is expected to begin in January 2023, reports said. It is worth noting that at the time of writing, the university has not updated its website to show winter internship recruitment, so keep your eyes peeled for updates. Paid Internship Abroad: Why South Korea

South Korea has transformed from one of the poorest countries in the world into a global economic powerhouse – it goes without saying that the country is a force to be reckoned with. There is more to the country than being home to K-pop stars and some of the best skin care products in the world.

It has also become a global innovation hub, with innovations such as inflatable isolation wards to flexible television screens that improve lives. South Korea is also known for large conglomerates such as Samsung, Hyundai and Lotte Group.

The country was also recently named Asia’s top student city, making it all the more appealing to consider a paid internship abroad in South Korea.

Looking for the best ramen or kimchi out there? You won’t get a more authentic experience of Korean cuisine than in the country it originated from.

South Korea is also known for its entertainment scene. Enjoy the shopping experience with everything from eclectic K-pop to hipster fashion, to marvel at the nightlife in some of South Korea’s busy nightlife districts. Opportunities abound for foreign interns are not to be missed.
