One of the country’s top orthopedic surgeons and vice-chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Raj Bahadur, faced with humiliation at the hands of a minister in the AAP government, sent his resignation to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday.
Raj Bahadur resigned for humiliation by Health Minister Chetan Singh Jouramajra during his visit to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital in Faridkot on Friday.

The newly inducted minister was caught in a row asking Raj Bahadur to lie on the bed of a “dirty” patient during the visit.
A video of the minister “forcibly asking the vice chancellor to lie down on the bed” has gone viral on social media.
The minister can be heard speaking “rude” to the vice chancellor about the lack of tidiness in the medical school.
The act was labeled “humiliating” by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) by the minister. they have demanded an apology from the health minister for his behavior.
The Indian Ortho Association has also condemned the incident.
OP Chaudhary, Secretary to the Vice-Chancellor, has also resigned.
Chetan Singh Jouramajra had replaced Vijay Singla as the state’s health minister after the latter was sacked by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on corruption charges.
