NBA All-Star Saturday Night continued with a showcase of some of the league’s top shooters in the 3-Point Contest.

Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns confirmed his claim of being the “greatest big man shooter of all time”, beating Luke Kennard (26) and Trae Young (26) in the final.

Towns’ score of 29 sets a new record for the highest score in the 3-point match final.

9:49 PM – Luke Kennard finishes with 26, putting Karl-Anthony Towns’ score of 29 on top. On his first attempt at the three-point match, the Timberwolves big man takes home the trophy!

21:48 – Trae Young is 26 short in the final. Can Kennard take out Towns?

9:46 PM – Towns is committed to the big men with a scorching round in the final, with 29 points!!

21:45 – It’s time for the final: Towns, Young and Kennard go for the crown!

9:38 p.m. – After a slow start, Trae Young makes six of his last eight shots, including the last money ball to beat Mills and advance to the Finals!

9:37 p.m. – Fred VanVleet has a score of 16. He is eliminated from the competition.

21:35 – Karl-Anthony Towns makes four of his last five shots to beat Mills with a score of 22.

21:32 – Patty Mills knocks over both MTN DEW balls, finishing with a score of 21.

21:26 – Zach LaVine runs out of gas on his last rack with the moneyballs and finishes with 14. He is eliminated from the competition.

9:25 PM Ohio native Luke Kennard catches fire and takes a healthy lead with a score of 28.

21:22 – CJ McCollum takes the lead for now as he takes on 19.

9:20 p.m. – Desmond Bane puts us on our way with a score of 18.
