Todd Boehly Wants a Premier League North v South All-Star Game.
While some do not agree with the ideathose of us who like American sports quietly think it would be quite entertaining.
Why not Americanize the s**t from the competition by introducing an All-Star weekend or day? We’ll give you six ideas to inspire an extravaganza featuring the best talent in the Premier League…
Manager All Star Game
Sometimes you see a random question on Twitter asking which manager is the hardest, or who would win a Royal Rumble. Both are very important questions – and with Sean Dyche out of the league, hard to answer.
While a Royal Rumble would be nice (my money is on Jurgen Klopp, FWIW), the thought of all 20 Premier League managers going head to head in an All-Star Game is absolutely spectacular.
Put any goalkeeper who doesn’t get playing time into the goal, Scott Carson and Alex Manninger for the old days, and let the ten southern team managers take on the ten northern team managers.
Pep Guardiola, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard team up in midfield against a southern side that includes Patrick Vieira and Mikel Arteta. Don’t act like you don’t want to see that.
I bet Bruno Lage would be brilliant at the dark arts.
Do I have to say something? Just watch this video. Awesome.

Last man standing penalty shootout
There are plenty of ideas in the same boat as a penalty shootout, such as a crossbar challenge or even a free kick challenge, but a spot kick competition would be entertaining on its own.
The league must have a player from each club representing their team, with that team being nominated by the fans. Waiting for a winner from Harry Kane and Ivan Toney can be a while.
All Star contestants in the United States are voted on, so if the soccer players don’t come to a voting system, the penalty takers must. I would say keepers should be exempt from voting because That is just damn ridiculous. It is important not to go too far here.
Squid Game/Hunger Games brought to life
What did I say about not going too far?
Don’t worry, I’m just kidding. Although seeing Darwin Nunez trying to sabotage Joachim Andersen in Red Light, Green Light would be quite something.
North vs South All-Star Game: City, Arsenal trios make the teams based on match ratings
Rising Stars game
From a funny idea to a serious idea straight out of the NBA.
The biggest basketball league in the world has one of the best All-Star weekends, with a celebrity contest. Imagine Piers Morgan representing Arsenal in a match with Liam Gallagher at the top for the North. Wow.
Either way, the NBA has a Rising Stars Game featuring the best young players in the league, mostly consisting of rookies who are in their first year in the big league.
Erling Haaland would still qualify for the Rising Stars Game as he is only 22, but he would have to be suspended for being too good.
In the NBA they do Americans versus the rest of the world as opposed to East versus West. So if the teams are fair, England vs the rest would be pretty fun.
That said, many young English players play alongside the national team, or at least one of the youth squads. So north v south is probably the best choice.
In this way, Michael Olise, Bukayo Saka, Moises Caicedo and Dejan Kulusevksi would team up to take on Phil Foden, Anthony Elanga, Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto. Bring. It. On.
Race for a place
100 meter race. One player per club. The winner will compete in the All-Star Game for their region. simple.
So basically, Adama Traore, congratulations: you’re an All Star.
Wayne Rooney Street Striker/Football AM Skill Skool Renaissance
The NBA All-Star weekend features a skill challenge where players complete a number of obstacles in a tournament format.
Something like that would be perfect, but with some inspiration from the great program Wayne Rooney Street Striker or maybe the iconic Skill Skool on Soccer AM. We should actually see some incredible tekkers.
Since not everything has to be a competition if it is one per club, it would be the most skilled players who compete against each other. Allan Saint-Maximin, Wilfried Zaha, Thiago, Luis Diaz, Daniel Podence, Kieffer Moore and Riyad Mahrez would likely all be featured.
Take on some of the Street Striker challenges before the last two remaining go head-to-head in a finale where they have to show off their best keep-up skills, in classic Skill Skool style.
Honestly, how can people be against an All-Star weekend with Premier League players? What an incredible idea.
