SAN DIEGO — Petco Health and Wellness Company announced on June 28 an expansion of its product offering to include dog treats and chews from pet companies CLIF PET™, by Clif Bar and Company, and Earth Animal®. Select products from both companies will now be available through Petco as part of the retailer’s commitment to support innovative, eco-friendly pet foods and treats.
CLIF PET’s new Plant Based Jerky Treats and Earth Animal’s No-Hide® Chews will be available in the United States at several Petco retail locations, as well as online through Petco.com.

Petco is the exclusive retail partner for Clif Bar’s new pet products. The company’s plant-based Jerky treats come in three recipes—sweet potato and blueberry, pumpkin and apple, and pumpkin and cranberry—each formulated with plant-based protein and seven easy, digestible ingredients. The treats are available in 5 oz and 12 oz bags ranging from $8.99 to $16.99. For a limited time, Petco will also be selling Clif Bar products in addition to CLIF PET treats.

In addition to CLIF PET treats, Petco will also sell Earth Animal’s No-Hide Chews line. The alternative rawhide chews come in six varieties—chicken, beef, salmon, pork, venison and peanut butter—in a variety of sizes. No-Hide Chews are formulated with seven ingredients, including sustainably sourced proteins, such as peanut butter; humanely raised chicken and pork; wild-caught salmon; humanely raised grass-fed beef; and free-range, grass-fed game. With limited ingredients, the chews offer a healthier and more digestible alternative to rawhide, according to Earth Animal.

Before launching Earth Animal’s products, Petco removed traditional rawhide products from all its shelves and its e-commerce site in March 2021 to promote healthier and more sustainable alternatives.
